Here are my class writing projects:

Unit 1: My weekends are usually boring

Every weekend, I go to work at a restaurant. It is sometimes boring. Usually, I work on Saturdays. I always look forward to watch soccer games on the weekends, but my favorite team isn’t strong, so it makes me sad. I study English every weekend. I have a lot of homework to do, and it is hard. However, on weekends, I don’t have to get up early. I can sleep well. I usually clean my room because I don’t like dirty rooms. Last weekend, I went to Gunma prefecture. It was far from Toyama. I drove on a highway. It was rearly boring, so I felt sleepy. I met my relatives. I enjoyed eating lunch with them. On this day, I had to get up early, and it was very very painful for me. Next weekend, I have to go work, but after the job I am going to meet my high school friends. In the evening, we are going to eat out. I hope that I can enjoy that time. Next weekend will be exciting.

Unit 2 : My friends, Hiroki.

My Friend, Hiroyuki

By Asaji Keita

Hiroyuki Tanaka is a friend from high school, and he is also my best friend. Hiroyuki is very handsome. He has an egg-shaped face. He wears glasses and jeans. He has long black hair. Hiroyuki has a wonderful personality. He is quiet and hardly speaks. He is kind and has helped me a lot. He is stubborn and doesn’t change his mind easily. Hiroyuki has many hobbies. His main hobby is playing soccer. He also likes playing guitar, and he also likes singing. His voice is very good.

Hiroyuki talks little about his future. He wants to be a cameraman or TV director. He is going to graduarte from colleage in Tokyo. Maybe he’s not completly clear about his plans yet. Although he won’t talk in detail about his future, I know that he will be successful because he studies very hard, and I can feel his passion. He will have a lot fun in the future, too.

Unit 3 :Friendly message.

Dear Hiroki,

How are you? I am great. It is Wednesday afternoon, and I am sitting in  my room. It is hot day in Japan. I am sitting at a big chair near my garden, reading a book, and thinking of you.

I had a very sad experience recently.  Last weekend, when I went shopping with my friend, it was a rainy day. There were a lot of people in the shopping center. I wanted to buy a nice drink cup. I was looking around for a while. There were some good looking cups, and I bought three cool ones. I especially liked one cup which had a cool rose picture drawn on it. It was really nice and expensive, so I was pleased. However, when I got in my car I dropped the three cups! However, only the best cup was broken. I was so depressed and shocked. If you go shopping and buy fragile things, you have to pay deep attention.

Although sometimes I feel unhappy, I lead a good life here, but I miss you. I hope you are happy and have quit smoking. When will you come to Toyama for a visit? I want you to tell me about what you’ve been up to in you. Please write soon, write me in English.

Your friend,

Keita
Unit5

Takahiro’s first time speaking

Yesterday was 2 years old Takahiro’s first day he could speak. His mother Yumi and his father Takashi were enjoying their weekend with Takahiro. He could crawl but he couldn’t talk at that time.

At 14:00, Takahiro’s parents enjoyed talking and was having tea while they were drinking, Takahiro slept. He was so busy and often cried out very laud voice. When he slept, his parents could rest and used that time for themselfs. At tea time, Yumi usually made cookies. Takahiro loved them. At this time, she made and ate cookies as usual. Then, suddenly Takahiro began to cry. Yumi tried to stop him, but he wouldn’t. Then yumi gave him a cookie. He stopped crying and said”cookie”. Yumi was really surprised and said “Takashi! Listen! Our baby spoke!” They were so excited about this. It was very interesting that Takahiro’s first spoken ward was “cookie” This meant he could love cookies very much more than his mother or father. It was funny, but maybe sad for his parents, because they wanted Takahiro to say their names first.

Unit 7

My Life Before and After Gamba

I am going to talk about my life before and after Gamba. Gamba is my favorite J-league soccer team. Before 2005 I just watched soccer on TV and I didn’t watch the J- league. In 2005 Gamba became league champion. I watched that game. It was really exciting. Since then, I have become a big fan of Gamba. There have been many changes before and after when I became big fan.

Before I became fan, my personality was always calm and I hardly ever got excited. In my free time, I use to play video games and sometime played basketball. I didn’t play soccer. I liked soccer but just watched it on TV, and not J league matches. I wasn’t interested in the J league and I had no favorite team. Perhaps, my life was a bit boring.

However, after 2005, my life changed. I am so excite every week when they play. In my free time I watch a lot of soccer games. I also play soccer now. This year, we established a TCFL soccer team. I am member of that team. I usually play defense. We play soccer every Wednesday at a field in Toyama University. Now that I have a favorite soccer tea, I sometimes go to soccer stadiums. Last summer, I watched it in Kanazawa. When I watched it, I was cheering enthusiastically. My life has become really exciting! Although my present life style is little bit costly, it is very interesting.

Unit9

Endo Yasuhito

Endo Yasuhito is my hero. Endo is a Japanese soccer player. He plays for Gamba Osaka, which is my favorite soccer team in the J-league. He has not only very incredible soccer sense, but also a strong fighting spirit.
Endo Yasuhito was born on January 28th, on Sakura island in Kagoshima prefecture. As a child, he was excellent at many sports, especially soccer. He has two older brothers. His oldest brother played soccer and made it to the j-league. As a result, his brothers influenced him, and he begun to play soccer as well. In 1995, Yasuhito’s team won the high school championship. In 1998, he joined the Yokohama Flugels. However, that year the team went bankrupt, so he moved to Kyoto Purple Sanga in 1999. In 2001 he transferred to Gamba Osaka, and he played very well. In 2003, he was chosen among the Best Eleven of the J-league. Since then, he has been chosen as a Best Eleven. This is still the J-league record. I am really impressed by it. In 2006, he was chosen to play in the World Cup. However, he was the only player who did not play on the pitch. In 2008, he took part in the Asia Champions League, and the Toyota Cup. He showed excellent play, so he became MVP of Asia.
I have learned many things from him. He has always showed his top performance. This stability is wonderful. He never gives up. In 2006 he could not take part in the W.C but he overcame his sadness and he increased his fighting spirit. I was so impressed by his effort.  Now, he is a key player, not only on Gamba, but also for Osaka Japan. I hope he will become an even more marvelous player. His abilities can give a lot of dreams to many people.
